CT Tech

Job Overview

  • Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Weekend schedule, Saturday through Monday
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Setting: Emergency department
  • Patient population: Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Required Qualifications

  • CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • CT Technologist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ARRT (R)(CT)
  • Experience in an inpatient setting
  • GE & Siemens FORCE Scanner use

Preferred Skills

  • Visage

Clinical Experience

  • CT procedures: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
  • Some trauma experience

Schedule Details

  • 2 x 12-hour night shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 19:00–07:00
  • 1 x 12-hour mid shift: Monday, 15:00–03:00
  • No call
  • No float
  • No weekend RTO

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced emergency department
  • Typical daily caseload: 150–200 scans across 4 rooms

Additional Notes

  • Scrubs are not provided; royal blue is required
  • Start date may change based on class and trainer availability
  • Candidate must be fully available for orientation and schedule changes

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
