Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Certifications: BLS issued by American Heart Association, CCC-SLP
- Licensure: Valid Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist license in Michigan
- Experience: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience); Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year; Experience in an Outpatient setting; Speech Language Pathologist experience
Clinical Focus
- Pediatric conditions listed in the posting include autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders
- Patient safety training includes recognizing signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse
- Patient/family education is required
Documentation / Systems
- Documentation system: Wellsky/Epic
- Billing/documentation tasks include assessment, discharge, evaluation, Medicaid, plan of care, reassessments, and SLP evaluation coding
Additional Notes
- Black scrubs required
- Provider support includes interpretation services, physical therapy, and unit secretary support
