Required Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS issued by American Heart Association, CCC-SLP
• Licensure: Valid Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist license in Michigan
• Experience: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (1 year of experience); Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year; Experience in an Outpatient setting; Speech Language Pathologist experience

Clinical Focus

• Pediatric conditions listed in the posting include autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders
• Patient safety training includes recognizing signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse
• Patient/family education is required

Documentation / Systems

• Documentation system: Wellsky/Epic
• Billing/documentation tasks include assessment, discharge, evaluation, Medicaid, plan of care, reassessments, and SLP evaluation coding

Additional Notes

• Black scrubs required
• Provider support includes interpretation services, physical therapy, and unit secretary support
