Labor and Delivery RN
Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS
- NRP
Preferred
- AWHWON Intermediate
Unit Details
- High-risk labor and delivery unit
- Level 3 NICU
- Teaching facility with resident coverage
- No call required
- Self-scheduling
- Average daily census: 15
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
Clinical Focus
- Cares for OB patients greater than 20 weeks
- Common cases include preeclampsia, GDM, PPROM, multiples, fetal anomalies, and cardiac defects in mother or baby
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Flu vaccine is required during flu season
- Scrubs are provided
