Patient Care Manager
Job Overview
- Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Assignment length: 18 weeks
- Schedule: Day shift with occasional evening or night work as needed; weekends per unit need
- Call: Yes
- Work setting: May need to float between two hospital locations
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- BLS
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Manager (3 years of experience)
- Manager experience within the last year
- Experience in Charge roles
- 3 years of people leadership experience
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
Preferred Experience
- Informal leadership experience such as charge RN, clinical educator, or preceptor
Role Summary
- Manages RN staff and assists in leadership of clinical support staff
- Responsible for ensuring the unit’s services and programs are child- and family-focused, clinically appropriate, operationally efficient, and support effective patient outcomes
