Description
Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Port St Lucie, Florida
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
- Start date is tied to the next applicable orientation date, about 3–4 weeks out
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Local candidates are accepted
- Floating is required within scope, including to sister facilities within about 20 miles
- Call is required on a case-by-case basis
- Weekend needs can be discussed with the manager
- Block scheduling is not available
- All requested time off must be submitted up front
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
- Cath Lab Technologist with 1.5 years of experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Cardiac Cath experience
- Vascular experience
- Neuro experience
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT)
- RCIS
Work Environment
- Short-term acute care setting
- 180 staffed beds
- Scrub color: ceil blue
- EPIC charting
Compliance and Onboarding
- Government-issued photo ID required
- E-Verify proof or attestation required
- Background check required
- Federal exclusion checks required
- Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required before start
- Physical exam required
- TB screening required
- Seasonal influenza vaccination or approved exemption required
- COVID vaccination or approved exemption required
- Two professional references required
- Online onboarding modules must be completed before start
- Time-sensitive onboarding modules should be prioritized immediately after confirmation
