Job Overview

- Unit focus: IMC/MS stepdown cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Stepdown experience within the last year
- 1 year of stepdown experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS - NIH Stroke Certification
- Current and valid driver’s license or state-issued ID
- 10-year work history verification
- 2 former direct supervisor references
- Current resume covering the last 7 years of employment, including explanations for gaps greater than 30 days
Additional Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check
- Education verification
- NURSYS verification
- State license verification
- Drug screen
- Physical exam
- TB screening or chest X-ray
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
- Fit testing
- Completion of required facility acknowledgments and onboarding documents prior to start
Facility Notes
- Patient care orientation class is required
- If no EPIC experience within the last 6 months, an EPIC class is required before receiving the schedule
- All RNs must complete a unit-specific competency exam and core competency modules
- A current skills checklist is required and must align with competency exams
