Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification is required before start
- 1 year of experience in Stepdown
- Stepdown experience within the last year
- Telemetry experience
- ED - Emergency Department experience
Schedule and Assignment Details
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Weekend coverage is required as needed by the facility
- No call required
- RTO must be made up later in the assignment
- RTO is not approved in the first week
- Only 1 holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment
- Night shift orientation occurs on day shift, and availability for the entire week is required

- Emergency Department
- 68 beds
- Typical patient ratio is 4:1
- Level 1 trauma, stroke, STEMI, and regional burn center
Additional Notes
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required from November 1 through April 1
- Black scrubs required
- Unprofessional attire and jeans are not allowed
- High-acuity experience is preferred
- Trauma/peds experience and handling 200+ patients per day are preferred
- Local candidates are paid below the travel rate
- Housing is not mentioned
