- 12-hour day/night rotation

Unit Details
- 30 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6/7
- One charge nurse on the floor with an assignment
- Patient care technicians are on the unit
- Telemetry is monitored remotely by monitor techs
- Intermittent BiPAP used on the unit
- Heparin drips are titrated based on aPTT results
Common Patient Types
- CHF
- COPD
- Cellulitis
- Rule-out cases
- Cholecystitis
- Appendicitis
- Pneumonia
- Urosepsis
- AKI
Scheduling and Floating
- Weekends and holidays are scheduled as needed, usually about half of the total weekends
- No standby or call requirement
- Floating may be required based on census
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Unexpired driver’s license must be submitted with the application
- Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius
