PICU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
- Hours per week: 36
- Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Patient Care Details
- Patient ratio: 1:1–2; 1:3 for intermediate care
- Floating: May float to adolescents, pediatrics, PHOC, and NICU as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
- 2 years of PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
- ACLS
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS
- IV Certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVVH
- CRRT
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIH Stroke Certification preferred
- Experience with CVVH and/or CRRT is required as a skill listed in the job data
- Patient transport experience is highly preferred
Schedule Expectations
- Every other weekend and holidays are required, as applicable
- Schedule accommodations or time off must be submitted with the application and approved before the offer
