Skilled Nursing RN

Overview

  • Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
  • Employment type: Contract
  • Schedule: 0.9 FTE day shift, 0630-1900
  • Weekend/holiday rotation: Every third weekend and holiday rotation
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Wisconsin
  • Long Term Care experience within the last year
  • Long Term Care experience
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Work Expectations

  • May be asked to float to other inpatient units based on census

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards, policies, procedures, and state practice laws
  • Document care according to standards
  • Develop, initiate, and carry out individualized plans of care, including patient and family education
  • Participate in unit or department performance improvement activities
  • Support other units or departments with clinical expertise as needed
  • Use critical thinking to promote patient safety and patient experience, and escalate concerns appropriately

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
