Home Health RN

Job Overview

  • Contract role in Missoula, Montana
  • Provides skilled nursing, care, and case management for patients in their residence or in an inpatient hospice setting

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Montana
  • Home Health experience within the last year
  • 2 years of Home Health experience
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN

Key Responsibilities

  • Admit patients to services and coordinate care to support continuity and quality outcomes
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process
  • Oversee care provided by Home Health/Hospice Aides and CNAs
  • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with agency standards and OASIS requirements
  • Participate in team scheduling, on-call rotation, quality improvement, and in-service training

Schedule

  • Schedule varies
  • Typical in-home schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call rotation

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
