Operating Room RN Travel Contract
Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Total joints experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Circulate
- Total joints
Work Expectations
- Call rotation required, including weekday evening call and one weekend approximately every 10 weeks
- Holiday rotation required
- Float required
Clinical / Technical Notes
- Cerner familiarity
- Omnicell medication system familiarity
Health / Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire
- MMR documentation
- Hepatitis B documentation
- Varicella documentation
- Drug screening within 45 days of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption for starts between 9/1 and 4/1
- Background check and SSN trace
- Driver’s license or state ID
- Passport-style badge photo
- Employment application with no unexplained gaps over 30 days
Additional Notes
- NIH Stroke Certification may be obtained after accepting
- RTO is not approved at booking and must be discussed during assignment

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful.
