Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Shift: Night shift with rotating weekends
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours

Overview

Experienced ER RN needed for night-shift work in an emergency department setting.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
TNCC
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing standards, policies, procedures, and state law
Document care according to standards of care
Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
Develop and carry out individualized patient plans of care, including patient and family education
Participate in unit performance improvement activities, shared governance, practice activities, and peer review
Use clinical expertise to support other units and escalate patient safety or experience concerns appropriately

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
