Case Manager
Job Overview
- Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Hours per week: 40
- Contract length: 20 weeks
- Schedule notes: Every 4th weekend; must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
- Assignment note: Longer assignments may be available through 01/02/2027
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Acute Care Case Management experience within the last year
- 1 year of Acute Care Case Management experience
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience with Epic
- Proof of 2 clinical references
- Complete application/resume
- Skills checklist for the applicable unit
- Government-issued photo ID
- Background check and education verification
- Primary source license verification and Nursys verification, as applicable for RNs
- Drug screen within 2 months of start
- Flu vaccination/documentation
- TB screening
- Physical exam
- Tdap documentation
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/documentation
- Pass/fail testing during orientation for adult inpatient RN positions
- Competency exam
Additional Notes
- Up to 40 hours of requested time off may be approved
- Candidate must review and sign facility-specific compliance and appearance documents before start
