Float Pool - M/S Tele RN
Overview
- Location: Salem, Massachusetts
- Employment type: Long-term assignment
- Schedule: 36 hours per week; day/evening/night rotation with every-other-weekend coverage
- Unit coverage: Float pool role across multiple med/surg telemetry areas and other hospital units
- Parking: Free on-site parking
Key Responsibilities
- Cardiac monitoring
- Managing cardiac drips
- Reading telemetry strips
- Floating between 8 units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- 2 years or more of total travel experience
- 2 years working as a Traveler
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Additional Notes
- EPIC is used for charting
- ACLS is listed as optional
- Prior travel experience is required
