Rehabilitation Therapy Job in Hawaii
Overview
- Location: Hilo, Hawaii
- Setting: Inpatient rehab and acute rehab
- Employment type: Contract
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Schedule: Days, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Hawaii
- Occupational Therapist with 2 years of experience
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Red Cross
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Experience in an Outpatient setting
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in outpatient or inpatient settings
- Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the ordering physician
- Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs
- Independently manage a full caseload
- Determine when re-evaluations are needed based on insurance authorization
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work Hawaii state and federal holidays as needed based on hospital operations
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for an employee health appointment on Friday
