Description
Cath Lab Tech
Location
- Flemington, New Jersey
Schedule
- 4x10s
- Flexible start time between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM
- Day shift, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Assignment Length
- 13 weeks
On-Call
- Preferred up to 10 days per month
- Call runs from 5:00 PM or 7:00 PM until 6:30 AM
- On-call rooms are available if needed, but at additional cost
Role Summary
- Works as part of the cardiovascular catheterization team
- Performs technical duties in the cardiac cath lab
- Assists physicians during procedures and supports nursing staff with patient care activities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the catheterization lab and equipment for procedures
- Maintain supply inventory and a clean environment of care
- Serve as scrub assistant during diagnostic, interventional, and other cath lab procedures
- Function as hemodynamic monitor and control room operator
- Provide accurate procedure recordkeeping
- Perform radiographic imaging with quality assurance and radiation safety
- Review procedure orders and patient records, explain procedures, and answer questions
- Maintain image records, reports, equipment maintenance records, and inventory control
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Radiology Technology program
- Registered Radiology Technologist through ARRT
- 1 year of experience

- 2 or more years of experience
