Operating Room Nurse

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Seymour, Indiana
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Call required: 3–4 shifts per month, including weekends and holidays
• Floating within scope may be required if needed
• Local candidates accepted within an 80-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

Additional Requirements

• First-time travelers may be accepted depending on experience
• RTO longer than 1 week is restricted
• 2 professional references from within the past 3 years

Compliance / Onboarding

• Background check required within 1 year of start and updated annually
• Education verification required
• State license verification required
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
• Competency exam and medication/pharmacology competency exam required
• Annual orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
• Facility-specific documents and computer-based learning modules must be completed before start
• Physical exam required within 1 year of start
• Tdap required
• TB screening required within 1 year prior to start
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation required
• 9-panel drug screen required within 1 year prior to start
• Annual skills checklist required
