Description
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse
Location
- Twin Falls, Idaho
Schedule
- 13-week contract
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Day and night shifts are available
- Weekends as needed
- Holidays as needed
- No call or standby requirement
Unit Overview
- ICU and PCU combination unit
- Floating occurs between ICU and PCU patients within the unit
- Charge nurse works without an assignment and supports the whole unit
- Nurse-to-patient ratios:
- ICU: 1:1-2
- PCU: 1:3
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- 1 year of experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Experience with TTM using Thermaguard/Zoll cooling
- Experience reading and interpreting telemetry strips
- EPIC experience
- Prior travel experience required
Clinical Environment
- Common patient types include ventilated patients, cardiac post-PCI, Impella, IABP, stroke/TNK, vascular, trauma, sepsis, overdose, abdominal trauma/surgical, and CRRT cases
- RN titration of drips is required
- Respiratory therapy is available in the unit 24/7
- Intensivist coverage is available 7 days a week
- Hospitalist coverage is available 24/7

- Navy blue scrubs
- 2-unit orientation provided
- Scheduling support is available, with block scheduling considered based on unit needs
