Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
- Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT (R)
- Completion of a radiologic technology program
Preferred Experience
- Experience with pediatric/adult congenital cases
- Experience with sterile technique
Role Summary
- Assists cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiology studies, and radiofrequency ablations
- Scrubs in as a sterile assistant, circulates, monitors procedures, and manages x-ray equipment
- Monitors invasive cardiac waveforms, pressure gradients, vital signs, and EKG data
- Orders and maintains supplies and troubleshoots equipment
Additional Notes
- ACLS and PALS certification must be obtained within 1 year if not already held
- Valid government-issued photo ID is required on assignment
- Two professional references are required
- A 7-year criminal background check, fingerprinting, drug screen, physical exam, and immunization/documentation compliance are required before start
