Labor and Delivery RN
Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Night shift, 3x12 schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Floating may be required within scope to meet facility needs
- Block scheduling is not available
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Local radius rule: 75 miles
- RTO limit: 5 days or less
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Ability to scrub C-sections
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate
- Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic experience preferred
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Basic Dysrhythmia competency during compliance
- Basic dysrhythmia competency exam
- Unit-specific competency exam
- Skills checklist
- 2 former direct supervisor references
- Updated resume covering the last 7 years of employment
- 10-year work history verification
- Background check
- Drug screen
- Physical exam
- TB screening
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
- COVID vaccination is strongly preferred, with declination allowed
- Fit testing and required onboarding acknowledgments/documents prior to start
Notes
- All RNs must attend patient care orientation
- If no Epic experience within the last 6 months, Epic class is required before receiving the schedule
- May be required to take Basic Dysrhythmia competency during compliance
