PICU Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio
- Setting: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Hours: 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1.5 years of experience)
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- NIH Stroke Certification
Additional Job Details
- Experience with epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to age 25
- EKGs and inotropes are part of the role
- Must work at least every other holiday
- ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate are completed during orientation, and passing scores are required
- Orientation includes facility training modules that must be completed before start
