Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position at a pediatric hospital in Ohio, requiring recent Level 1 experience and a willingness to float across multiple units on night shifts.

Details

• Position is in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a large children's hospital
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Floating required to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and med/surg units as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license (must be in hand)
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience highly preferred; first-time travelers considered with closer to 3 years of PICU experience
• Recent Level 1 facility experience required
• Two supervisory references required, with at least one from a supervisor or manager (charge nurse references not accepted)

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not accepted for this RN position
• Candidates who have worked permanently for this facility must have at least a 2-year gap before being considered
• First-time travelers will be considered with sufficient PICU experience
• Floating to other units is a firm expectation and travelers must be prepared to accept appropriate assignments across units
