Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment within the previous 18 months
- TNCC
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Professional reference from within the last 24 months
- De-escalation certification such as CPI, MAB, MOAB, or SAMA
Assignment Details
- Local radius rule: 50 miles
- Required to work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
- Float assignment may include Marion ED (freestanding campus)
- Unit has 34 beds
- Typical ratio is 4:1
- Patient population includes a mixture of drips and titrations
- Scrub colors: black, navy blue, or Caribbean blue solids

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful.
