NICU Registered Nurse
Overview
- Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start date: 7/6
Unit / Role Details
- NICU Level II and III experience is required.
- First-time travelers are not accepted.
- On-call may be required for late stays if needed.
- Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius.
- Pending license is accepted if obtained prior to start.
- RTO must be submitted during the submittal process.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- STABLE

- Diploma or transcript from highest level of education

- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months of start

- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation or approved exemption
- Respirator safety clearance, if the role involves respirator use

- Travelers are subject to an attendance policy; more than two missed shifts in a 13-week contract may lead to cancellation review.
