Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse
Overview
- Location: Roanoke, Virginia
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule: Day shift, 4x10 hours, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday with one rotating day off
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Weekend coverage: Possible
- Call: Required, including one primary call per week and one primary call weekend per month
- Holiday coverage: Must be available to work or take call one holiday per 13-week contract
- Local candidates: Not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
- 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience in neuro and peripheral interventions
- Experience with Epic
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- Driver’s license or state ID within 48 hours of signing
- E-Verify or attestation
- 7-year background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Education verification of highest earned degree
- NURSYS verification
- State license primary source verification
- Photo for badge
- Access and confidentiality agreement
- New hire paperwork
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask testing within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- 2 clinical references

- RTO requests must be included with submission
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
