RN Case Manager with Utilization Review Experience
Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Montana Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
- Utilization review experience
- Must live at least 90 miles away from the facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- 2 years of acute care hospital experience as a case manager
Role Summary
- Works with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and manage plans of care
- Monitors patient progress, identifies barriers to care, and supports discharge planning
- Performs comprehensive assessments, ongoing care-plan monitoring, and case management outreach
Schedule Notes
- Regular and sustained attendance is required
- May require work beyond a standard 40-hour week
- On-call work may be required

- Uses computer applications, MS Office, EMR, internet applications, and standard office equipment
- May involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, chemicals, medications, radiation, and emotionally challenging situations
