ICU Registered Nurse
Location
- Port Angeles, Washington
Schedule
- Day shift
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Ventilator management
- Vasoactive drips experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic experience
Unit Details
- ICU/CCU setting with mixed ICU/CCU and intermediate beds
- May float to the medical-surgical ward when census is low
- No aides on night shift
- Telemetry ratio: 4:1
- CCU ratio: 2:1
Clinical Notes
- The unit manages vents, temporary pacers, and acute dialysis (outsourced)
- Hemodynamics are limited to arterial lines and CVP lines
- No IABP
- Primarily medical and abdominal surgery patients
- No neuro or cardiac surgery/plastics cases
