Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Post Partum (2 years of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Clinical Expectations
- Care for postpartum vaginal and cesarean delivery patients
- Support tubal ligation and circumcision cases
- Provide care for GYN surgeries, couplet care, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery patients
- Perform blood and blood product administration
- Manage drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vacs
- Administer heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
- Provide OB-GYN and post-op care, including post-vaginal delivery and postpartum readmit care
- Provide normal newborn care, including thermoregulation and glucose management
Scheduling and Work Conditions
- Floating may be required to NICU or L&D
- Weekends are required to meet staffing needs
