Job Overview

- Contract length: 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Work in labor and delivery and postpartum.
- Float between postpartum and labor and delivery/OR.
- May also work antepartum and OR/PACU as part of labor and delivery coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience working in a large teaching facility
- Post Partum experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Schedule and Unit Details
- Ratio: 1:3
- Call: None
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
Additional Requirements
- Flu vaccination required during flu season with no exemptions
- 2 supervisory references required at submission
- Background check required
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Fit test required within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
- Negative 10-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start
- Completion of required onboarding and attestation documents before start
