Labor and Delivery Nurse

Overview

  • Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
  • Weekly hours: 36 or 48 hours
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in New Mexico
  • Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

  • Drivers license or state ID
  • Education verification
  • 7-year background check
  • 7-year work history verification
  • Fingerprinting completed onsite during orientation
  • Physical exam within 12 months of start
  • Fit test within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
  • Tdap within 10 years of start
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
  • Color blind testing

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
