Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma
- Occupational Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- Experience in a Long Term Care setting
Experience Notes
- New graduates may be considered if they have Level II fieldwork experience
Role Overview
- Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
- Develop and adjust treatment plans using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
- Provide skilled rehabilitation treatment, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
- Document treatment, progress, discharge summaries, and required clinical information
- Communicate with the care team, patients, families, and caregivers
- Participate in required meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
- Supervise occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students
