Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:30
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start-time scheduling note: Up to 10 RTO days may be approved, but RTO is not allowed during specified blackout periods.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- EFM
- AWOHNN
- FHM
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Work Expectations
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Weekend work is required per unit needs
- On-call is required per unit needs
- Floating may be required to other units within the service line and possibly to a sister facility
- Charting system used: Epic
Patient Care Environment
- Typical patient ratio: 1:2 for antepartum or postpartum, up to 4:1
