NICU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Travel/contract role in New Jersey
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Neonate patients

Schedule and Assignment Details

Floating required within five hospitals based on need
No block scheduling
No on-call
Every other weekend required
One winter holiday and one summer holiday required
Patient ratio: 1:2

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted, but not preferred
Navy blue scrubs required
Epic experience is preferred
RTO must be submitted at time of application; post-submission RTO is not accepted
Candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital are subject to a lower local rate

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
