Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Level III NICU RN with micro preemie and high-frequency ventilation experience for a hospital assignment requiring float coverage among five facilities.

Details

• Level III Neonatal ICU setting practicing couplet care with a Stork RN on each shift
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required among five hospitals within skillset (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL)
• Block scheduling is not permitted

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• 2-3 years of NICU experience required
• Level III NICU experience required
• Experience with micro preemies and high-frequency ventilation required
• Epic experience preferred
• Nursys verification must reflect an active NJ or Compact license dated within 2 weeks of submission
• BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of the assignment start date
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions

Additional Information

• Required to work 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital are subject to the local pay rate
• First-time travelers are accepted but not preferred
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; requests submitted afterward will not be accepted
• No RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment
• Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit
• Pre-employment labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
