ICU RN
Overview
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Role Summary
- ICU RNs assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician.
- They collaborate with patients, families/significant others, and the care team to individualize care and direct nursing support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- TNCC
Float / Assignment Scope
- May float to all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders
- May also float to Women’s and Family if needed
- Will only be assigned to the ICU at this facility
- Orientation will be provided for Women’s and Family
- Ratios will not exceed 1:3 when assigned to any unit/hospital
Scheduling / Time Off
- RTO expectation: no more than 5 days
- If 5 days are taken in a row, the contract may be extended by 1 week
- Travelers do not work on holidays
- Travelers are expected to work the days surrounding holidays
- Must be available for the days surrounding 1–2 holidays during the contract
