Registered Nurse - Telemetry I (Float Pool)

Work Schedule
- Night shifts, 19:00 - 07:30
- Every Other Weekend (EOW)
- 36 hours per week
- Rotation includes Days/Eves with 1 to 3 rotations to Nights per contract
Job Description
- Float pool nurse covering up to 8 different Med/Surg Telemetry units across the hospital
- Responsible for cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and interpreting telemetry strips every 4 hours
- Patient care includes ED border patients, acute mental health medication nursing, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients
- Clinician to patient ratio: up to 6:1 on nights, up to 5:1 on days and evenings
- Charting system: EPIC
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- 2 years or more of total travel experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Additional Notes
- Must be willing to float to multiple units within the hospital
- Bed counts on units range from 8 to 41 beds
- Free on-site parking available
