Operating Room RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Pittsfield, Massachusetts
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:30
- 40 hours per week
- On-call required
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience / Screening
- 2 professional references within the last 3 years
- Government-issued photo ID
- Emergency contact form before start
- Annual skills checklist
- Annual competency testing as applicable
- Annual background check and required state/federal screening
- CORI release
- Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry search
- Pass/fail testing on first day of orientation
- Color blindness testing before start
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit testing required
- Tdap vaccination
- TB clearance within 1 year of start
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity documentation
- 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Annual COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
Facility Notes
- Scrubs are provided for OR
- Any scrub color is acceptable
