MS/Tele RN Travel Contract

Overview

• Location: Cottonwood, Arizona
• Setting: Short-term acute care, teaching hospital, Level IV trauma
• Unit: Med-surg/telemetry; traveler will float between two MS/Tele units and may be placed where most needed
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• First-time travelers: Accepted
• Local candidates: Accepted
• On-call: None

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Expectations

• Must be open to floating where most needed
• Will work in a flex pool
• Strong med-surg/tele experience is preferred by the unit; ICU/PCU experience is also noted as helpful

Additional Notes

• Standard med-surg/tele equipment is used
• Liko lifts are in almost all patient rooms
• Cerner is used for charting
• Free parking is available
