Cath Lab RN

Overview

  • Location: Arlington, Virginia
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Specialty: Registered Nurse
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift options: 4x10-hour days (07:00–17:30) or 3x12-hour days (7:00–19:00), based on staffing need
  • Call: 2–3 call shifts per week, including 2 call weekends in a 6-week period

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Virginia
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Cath Lab Circulator experience with RLHC/PCI, Peripheral, and EP circulating experience

Schedule / Work Expectations

  • Weekend call is typically required
  • Long call requires arrival on site within 30 minutes of the initial page

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
