Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Location: Salem, Massachusetts
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Employment type: LTA
- Schedule: Day rotation with evening and night rotation as needed; every other weekend; 1 night of call
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- EFM
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum experience
Preferred
- ACLS
Unit Details
- Labor and Delivery / Postpartum unit
- 25-bed unit
- Includes Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, 2 ORs, 2 recovery rooms, and 2 ANU rooms
- Typical patient ratios:
- Labor & Delivery: 1:2-3 for evaluations
- Active labor: 1:1
- Postpartum: 1:3-4

- Floating is not required
- Straight days are not available

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason.
