Dietitian

Job Details

  • Location: Brooklyn, New York
  • Employment type: Travel/Contract
  • Contract length: 26 weeks
  • Schedule: Day shift, 2x8 hours
  • Hours per week: 16
  • Status: Part-time, as-needed hours

Role Summary

  • Review client records and medications to understand nutritional needs
  • Develop personalized meal plans based on assessment
  • Provide individual counseling and conduct trainings or workshops
  • Help develop structured nutrition plans and menus
  • Assist with supervising kitchen department activities

Required Qualifications

  • Competency exam required for all candidates
  • Background check required
  • Fingerprinting required
  • 2 references required

Required Health and Compliance Items

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months before start
  • TB questionnaire annually
  • Drug test within 1 year of start
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation required
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required
  • COVID-19 booster preferred, not required

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
