Required Qualifications

  • Valid RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist license in Illinois
  • RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (2 years of experience)
  • RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist experience within the last year
  • Experience in an outpatient setting
  • Experience in a clinic setting
  • Enteral nutrition (tube feedings)
  • Nutrition therapy complications
  • Therapeutic diet orders
  • Cachexia
  • Cancer nutrition management
  • Nutrient deficiencies
  • Nutrition focused physical exam (NFPE)
  • Protein calorie malnutrition

Role Focus

  • Multidisciplinary patient care for adults with cancer and related comorbidities
  • Common case mix includes obesity, diabetes, heart disease, GI complications, and medical nutrition therapy/symptom management
  • Body composition analysis is commonly used
  • Works collaboratively with speech pathology and other providers
  • Patient advocacy and strong communication are emphasized

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

  • Government-issued photo ID
  • Background check within 1 year of start, covering all locations lived/worked/in school in the past 7 years, with annual updates
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM check
  • HHS/OIG check
  • Education verification
  • Physical exam within the last 12 months
  • Fit testing and annual respirator training onsite
  • Tdap within 10 years or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the stated timeframe
  • TB questionnaire if there is a history of past positive TB
  • Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation
  • Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination series, or declination
  • Varicella immunity documentation
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start, including marijuana
  • Annual skills checklist

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
