Operating Room RN
Overview
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 8 weeks
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
- Hours: 40 per week
- Call: 4–6 weeknights and 1 weekend call shift every ~6 weeks; holiday rotation required
- Float: Required
- Orientation: Bi-weekly
- RTO: No RTO requests at booking; must be discussed with managers during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Ability to circulate in the operating room
- Ability to perform total joint surgeries
- Ability to float to other units
Preferred / Role-Specific Skills
- Circulate

Additional Notes
- NIHSS may be obtained after accepting
- Local candidates are defined as within 75 miles of the facility
- Badge photo, background check, drug screen, TB clearance, flu documentation, physical exam, and other onboarding documents are required before start
