Registered Nurse IMC
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Edmond, Oklahoma
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 12 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Floating may be required within scope, including to sister facilities if needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Telemetry experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Driver's License
Schedule and Assignment Notes
- No more than 5 days of requested time off accepted
- Block scheduling is not available
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Pending state license is not accepted
- Must live more than 75 miles from the contracted facility
Required Documents and Compliance
- Current valid driver’s license or state-issued ID
- Utility bill in the traveler’s name with matching address from within the last 3 months
- Background check and education verification requirements apply
- References from 2 former direct supervisors
- Updated resume covering the last 7 years of employment
- Work history verification covering 10 years, including gaps
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit testing completed onsite
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
- COVID vaccination is strongly preferred; declinations are accepted
Additional Notes
- Epic charting is used
- Patient care orientation class is required
- ESI certification is required for ER candidates only
