Registered Nurse Job Summary
Role Overview
- Travel/contract registered nurse position in Charlottesville, Virginia.
- Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- 13-week assignment.
- Float pool role covering various acute care med-surg and telemetry units.
- Includes floating across acute care nursing areas such as geriatrics/palliative care, orthopedics & trauma, medicine, surgical, neurology, epilepsy & stroke, acute cardiology, neurosurgery, vascular, heme/onc, solid organ transplant, thoracic cardiovascular, digestive health, special pathogens, and ED boarders.
- Does not include ICU or intermediate care units.
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required.
- Can offer 36 or 48 hours per week.
- Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed.
- Up to 40 hours of time off can be approved.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia.
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience with Epic.
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification.
Additional Notes
- Clinical review and auto offer.
- Pass/fail testing is required during orientation for adult inpatient RN positions.
