Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Silverton, Oregon
• 13-week assignment
• Evening shift, 3x12 hours
• Every other weekend
• Holidays as needed outside of requested time off
• May be required to change to a day shift schedule on or before 9/20/2026 depending on patient arrival trends

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
• Experience with Epic

Work Expectations

• Must float within the site and across the system
• Refusal to float as requested will result in cancellation of the contract
• Required to complete assigned education within one week of assignment
• May be mandatorily canceled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty
• Must cancel low-census shifts 1.5 hours before shift start

Additional Requirements

• Criminal background check
• 2 professional references
• Physical exam within 1 year before start
• Tdap within 10 years of start, or signed declination
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year before start
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Measles immunity or 2 vaccines
• Mumps immunity or 2 vaccines
• Rubella immunity or 2 vaccines
• Hepatitis B immunity and 3-dose vaccine series, or signed declination
• Varicella immunity or 2 vaccines
• Negative drug screen within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccine or signed declination during flu season
• COVID vaccine documentation or declination
• Respirator clearance
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Competency exam for all clinical candidates
