Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Newark, New Jersey
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays, based on unit needs
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
- 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic
Clinical Skills
- Central line insertion and management
- PICC care
- Implanted ports
- IV therapy, including starting and maintaining IVs
- Infusion pumps
- Blood product administration
- Central venous access
- End-tidal CO2 monitoring
- Procedural sedation monitoring
- Radiation and laser safety
- Pre- and post-procedure care
- Special procedures
- Chest tube placement
- Lung biopsy
- Pulmonary angiography and embolization
- Thoracentesis
- Chemoembolization
- Liver biopsy and ablation
- Paracentesis
- TIPS
- Nephrostomy
- Renal angiography and stent procedures
- Uterine arterial embolization
- Emergency medication administration
- Sedation monitoring and reversal agents
Considered Backgrounds
- Procedural experience in OR/CVOR
- ICU/CCU background without procedural experience
- Cath Lab experience

- Candidates must float within their skillset without exception
- RTO and schedule requests are reviewed only if submitted with a screenshot; no requests are approved after offer
- Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
