PT Home Health

Job Overview

  • Travel/contract physical therapy role in Yuma, Arizona
  • Home health setting with home visits and periodic office meetings
  • Day shift, 5x8 schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • 13-week assignment
  • 40 hours per week
  • Average patient load: 5–6 per day
  • Productivity expectation: 30 points per week
  • Territory includes Yuma city/Ft Hills area, with travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Arizona
  • 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
  • Physical Therapist experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Experience in a Home Health setting
  • Driver's License
  • Experience with Homecare Homebase

Additional Details

  • Guaranteed hours are not provided
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • Weekend coverage and on-call needs vary by location and should be discussed during the interview
  • Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
  • Travel is compensated from patient home to patient home; commute to the first and last patient is not billable
  • EMR used: HCHB

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
