Job Overview

Setting and Patient Population

• Starts in acute inpatient hospital PT for the first weeks of the contract, then transitions to outpatient clinic on campus as staffing changes.
• Inpatient work includes acute ortho/post-op, neuro/stroke, and general debilitation evaluations for placement.
• Outpatient work is generalist; manual therapy experience is preferred.
• Vestibular experience is a plus.
• The clinic also sees lymphedema and pelvic floor cases, but experience in those areas is not required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with Epic
• Acute orthopedic (post-operative) experience in a Physical Therapist setting
• Acute neurological (stroke) experience in a Physical Therapist setting
• Manual therapy experience
• State license verification for the allied profession
• 2 professional references
